If so, then this MAFLA Meets is perfect for you! At this IN-PERSON MAFLA Meets, World Language teachers have the chance to connect, socialize, speak many languages, celebrate the final days of summer, share back to school strategies, and learn more about MAFLA.

These Pre-Conference workshops are designed to provide in-depth training and collaboration prior to the conference. In the morning, three six-hour workshops are offered and later in the day there is one four-hour workshops. If you attend both the morning and afternoon sessions, you can accumulate 10 PDPs. Note: You can attend the Thursday, Pre-Conference workshops without attending the full Conference. We provide this flexibility so that more of our members can take advantage of our Conference offerings.

Cancellations: Any registrant who needs to cancel their registration while registration is still open is able to do so with a 15% fee. Once registration for the event has closed, the amount of the refund is at the discretion of the Program Director.

World Languages: A Core Subject
The MAFLA Annual Conference, October 24-26, offers members an outstanding PD opportunity for learning and collegiality. Included in the basic conference registration this year are 60-minute concurrent sessions on Friday, lunch on Friday (new this year!), and deep-dive workshops & working groups on Saturday morning. You can also register for our Friday morning Leadership Breakfast, our Saturday morning Immersion Breakfast or our Saturday afternoon Business/Awards Luncheon. On Friday, there will be a variety of companies and organizations exhibiting their products and services in the Exhibit Hall. Please register so that you take full advantage of this newly designed MAFLA event.
